EnergyMax storage systems are more cost-effective than generators, motor-powered units, and common UPS systems for several reasons:

Due to their ability to provide high instantaneous current (up to 10 times the rated current), lithium systems can start motorized loads (e.g.,refrigerators, air handlers) with lower rated power compared to diesel generators. For example, a building requiring a 30 kVA generator can use an18 kW lithium system instead, saving initial costs and reducing size, weight,and noise pollution.
Technical Explanation—Generators must be designed based on the starting current (inrush current), which is typically 5 to 7 times the normal operating
